The Rose Garden at Mesa Community College is a surprisingly large public garden, with long beds of roses set against the open campus landscape. In bloom, it is one of Mesa's easiest places for a quiet stroll and photography.
Timing matters: the garden is far more rewarding during peak flowering than in the heat-stressed parts of summer. Go early in the day for softer light and cooler temperatures.
