Snoopy Rock is one of Sedona's playful named formations, a red-rock profile that looks like Snoopy stretched out on his doghouse when seen from the right angle. It is not a trailhead prize so much as a visual landmark that adds character to the town's skyline.
Look for it from central Sedona viewpoints and streets rather than treating it as a separate hike. The formation is best in angled morning or late-day light, when the shape separates clearly from the surrounding sandstone.
