The Razorback Greenway is a 38-mile paved trail that connects Bentonville to Fayetteville without touching a road. For cyclists it is the primary way to move around the Northwest Arkansas region — from Bentonville downtown you can reach Crystal Bridges, Walmart corporate headquarters, the University of Arkansas, and dozens of other destinations entirely on the trail. The surface is smooth, the grade is manageable, and bike rental is available in town for those without their own bikes.
Razorback Regional Greenway
A story
The Razorback Greenway is a 38-mile paved shared-use trail that runs from Fayetteville through Springdale and Rogers to Bentonville, connecting the four main cities of Northwest Arkansas without requiring a car. The trail passes through parks, alongside the University of Arkansas campus, and through the Crystal Bridges grounds. It was built between 2013 and 2015 with significant funding from the Walton Family Foundation and represents one of the more ambitious urban greenway projects built in the American South.
