Eureka Springs is in a remote corner of northwest Arkansas. The nearest large airport is Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA) in Bentonville, about 55 miles east — a one-hour drive via US-62. Alternatively, Branson, Missouri, is about 50 miles to the north with a small regional airport. There is no intercity bus service; a car is essential. US-62 passes directly through downtown Eureka Springs and is the main access road from all directions.
