One of Sacramento's best craft breweries, with a taproom in Midtown and a larger second location near the river. Track 7 specialises in hop-forward IPAs made with Cascade and Centennial hops grown in the Sacramento Valley — the Central Valley climate produces excellent hop varieties — and a rotating seasonal line that tracks the harvest calendar of the region.
The taproom is welcoming without being aggressively themed: bare concrete floors, long communal tables, and a chalkboard menu that changes weekly. Food trucks park outside most evenings. The Panic IPA is the flagship and a good place to start; the Autumn Maple seasonal is remarkable.
