Rancho Cucamonga's dining scene is solidly suburban: plenty of chain restaurants alongside a growing number of independent spots. The best concentration of options is at and around Victoria Gardens, where the restaurant row runs from fast-casual to sit-down American and Italian. Foothill Boulevard — Route 66 — has a long strip of older independent Mexican restaurants and diners that predate the city's incorporation in 1977.
