A 6,615-seat baseball stadium, home of the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes — the High-A minor league affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the California League. The stadium opened in 1993 and is one of the better minor-league parks in southern California, with a view of the San Gabriel Mountains beyond the outfield wall and a relaxed family atmosphere.
A summer evening Quakes game is a cheap and surprisingly pleasant outing — tickets are inexpensive, the level of baseball is high (these are major-league prospects on their way up), and the stadium runs the usual minor-league promotions (fireworks nights, bobblehead giveaways). Season runs April to September.
