The bar at PlumpJack Inn is the most atmospheric après-ski spot in Olympic Valley — a fireplace, wooden beams, and a wine list that is notably serious for a ski resort. PlumpJack runs a winery in Napa Valley and the bar stocks its own label wines alongside well-chosen spirits.
The crowd skews slightly older than the loud base-lodge bars and the atmosphere is more conversation than music. It gets busy between 4pm and 7pm on ski days; outside those hours it is calm enough for a long drink and a look at the menu. The kitchen serves bar snacks and a limited dinner menu.
