Après-ski is taken seriously in Olympic Valley. The bars at the base of the mountain fill quickly after the lifts close, and the energy on a good powder day is hard to match. The scene is casual — ski boots and helmets are normal attire — and things wind down earlier than a typical nightlife destination. Most people are back on skis by 9am.
