Laguna Beach is an art town first and a beach town second — though the beaches and coves are excellent. The combination of Heisler Park, the Laguna Art Museum, and the summer festivals makes it the most genuinely interesting town on the Orange County coast. The Laguna Coast Wilderness Park on the inland side offers hiking through coastal sage that most beach visitors never discover.
