San Clemente's sights line up neatly along the coast and the bluff. Start at Casa Romantica, walk down toward the San Clemente Pier, and leave time for the beach trail if the weather is clear.
Surfers should look south to Trestles and San Onofre. Non-surfers still get a good coastal walk, train views, and a town centre that is more pleasant than many Orange County beach strips.
