Placerville Speedway is a small dirt-track racing venue at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds. On race nights it gives Placerville a very different energy from the Gold Rush storefronts downtown, with sprint cars, local fans, and a loud county-fair atmosphere.
This is a schedule-dependent POI, not a sight to inspect at any time of day. Check the season calendar first, and treat it as an evening option if you want a local motorsports experience while staying in the Sierra foothills.
