A small outdoor chapel built in 1909 by the Episcopal community of early Tahoe City, hidden in the pines just off the West Lake Shore. The chapel is open-sided and oriented toward the lake, with rough log pews and a simple altar. Services are still held there in summer.
It sits on the grounds of the St Nicholas Episcopal Church and is easy to miss; look for the small dirt drive opposite the lake. It is one of the few buildings from Tahoe's early resort era that has survived continuous use.
