Between meals, Yountville is mostly about wineries, walking, and the Veterans Home grounds at the south end of town. Domaine Chandon's terrace and the small but worthwhile Napa Valley Museum are the easy half-day stops; a drive west to look at the Herzog & de Meuron building at Dominus Estate is the architecture lovers' detour.
The town is small enough to cover on foot; you can rent bikes for the wider valley if you want to push north toward Oakville and Rutherford.
