McKenzie House

The Robert L. McKenzie House (also known as the Belle Booth House) is a Queen Anne residence at 17 East 3rd Court, built in 1907 for one of Panama City's founding entrepreneurs. It is the oldest surviving residential building downtown, with a wrap-around porch, decorative shingled gables, and a small turret with a steeply pitched roof.

The house has been carefully restored and is on the National Register. It is privately owned and not open for tours, but the exterior is easily seen from the street and gives a sense of the timber-merchant prosperity that built Panama City in the years just before the First World War.
