Mokule'ia Beach Park

A quieter North Shore beach park with long sand, open sky, and strong wind-and-wave conditions.

Mokule'ia Beach Park is part of the quieter, more open end of Oahu's North Shore. Compared with the famous surf breaks nearer Haleiwa and Waimea, it feels more spacious: long sand, big sky, fewer services, and a wilder edge as the road runs toward Ka'ena Point.

Conditions matter here. The beach can be windy, currents can be serious, and winter surf is not casual swimming water. Come for walking, picnicking, skydiver-spotting from the nearby airfield, or a calmer swim only when the sea is clearly behaving.
