Coffee Works is Lanai City's coffee shop and the morning hub of the island. Located a short walk from Dole Park, it opens early and fills quickly with a mix of locals on their way to work, resort staff, and travellers who've made it up from the coast. The espresso drinks are well made, the pastries are fresh, and the outdoor tables under the trees make it an excellent place to ease into a Lanai morning.
It also serves as an informal community board: people leave flyers here, talk about what's happening on the island, and generally behave as though the coffee shop is theirs — because it is. For visitors, it's the quickest way to get a sense of daily life in Lanai City beyond the resort bubble.
