Lanai's bar and cafe scene is as small as everything else on the island: a couple of local spots in Lanai City, a coffee shop that serves as the morning gathering point for residents, and the resort bars down at the Four Seasons. The island doesn't have a nightlife scene in any conventional sense — most evenings wind down early, which suits the pace of the place.
The upside is that the spots that do exist feel genuinely local. Sit at the bar long enough and you'll be talking to someone who actually lives here.
