Adventureland is Iowa's largest amusement park, with roller coasters, family rides, shows, and a separate water park. Adventure Bay adds slides, a large pool, and a lazy river during the warmer months.
It is in Altoona, east of Des Moines, and is mainly a family day out rather than a quick downtown stop.
