The main draw in Scotts Bluff is the national monument that shares the city's name, but there is more to the area than history and trails. The Riverside Discovery Center makes a good stop if you're travelling with children, and downtown Scottsbluff has a cluster of handsome early 20th-century buildings that hold up well on a walking tour.
