Eldorado Resort Casino and the Row

Three-property Sierra Nevada-themed casino complex at the heart of downtown Reno

The Eldorado, Silver Legacy, and Circus Circus together form The Row — a three-property casino complex connected by skybridges and covering several blocks of downtown Reno. The Eldorado is the original, opened in 1973 by the Carano family and best known for a serious wine and food programme that runs counter to the cheap-buffet stereotype of Nevada casino dining.

The Silver Legacy next door opened in 1995 and is recognisable from blocks away by the white domed atrium housing a four-storey replica mining rig. Circus Circus at the western end is exactly what the name suggests — circus acts above the casino floor on a regular schedule, intended to keep families entertained while parents play. Taken together, the Row is the closest thing downtown Reno has to a Las Vegas-style integrated resort.
