Odeon Theater

The Odeon is a single-screen Art Deco movie house from 1936, still operating as a cinema seven decades after most of its peers were demolished or converted. The facade has been restored, with the original vertical neon "ODEON" sign cared for as a town landmark.

Tucumcari residents are protective of the Odeon — it survived several closure threats in the 2010s — and it still runs new releases most weekends. Catch a film here if you can; it is one of the more authentic old American cinema experiences left.
