Freedom Park

Freedom Park, formerly Broderick Park, is a small waterfront green space at the southern tip of Unity Island. Its main interest is historical: this was an important Niagara River crossing point for people escaping slavery through the Underground Railroad, now marked with interpretation beside the riverfront paths.
