Seneca Indian Park is a small South Buffalo historic site marking ground once associated with the Seneca Indian Mission Church and its cemetery. The remains of important Seneca figures, including Red Jacket and Mary Jemison, were originally buried in the area before being moved elsewhere.
The park itself is modest, but the plaques on its large boulders give useful context on Seneca history and the former Buffalo Creek Reservation. It is best for visitors with a specific interest in Indigenous history rather than as a casual park stop.
