Shark Girl is the odd little public-art mascot of Canalside: a life-size girl in a blue dress, red shoes, and a shark head, sitting on a boulder near the restored canal. Casey Riordan Millard's sculpture has become one of Buffalo's stranger photo stops.
It is not a reason to cross town by itself, but it adds a bit of local wit to a walk around Canalside and the waterfront.
