Durand-Eastman Park is a large lakefront park on Rochester's northern edge, created from former summer estates donated to the city in 1909. It has a Lake Ontario beach, wooded ravines, small lakes, trails, and a golf course, making it one of the city's better full-day outdoor escapes in warm weather.
