Genesee Brew House

The Genesee Brewery has been producing lager and cream ale on the banks of the Genesee River since 1878, making it one of the oldest continuously operating breweries in the United States. The Brew House, opened in the original 1874 brew house building on the river, is the visitor-facing side of that history: a taproom serving the full range of Genesee beers (including the iconic Genny Cream Ale) alongside seasonal and experimental brews that don't make it into wide distribution. The building itself is impressive — exposed brick, timber beams, original equipment — and the riverside views are good. Tours of the active brewery run on weekends.
