The Old Dutch Church is the heart of Sleepy Hollow's legend: a fieldstone church founded in the late 1600s, with the burying ground Washington Irving made famous. It is small, plain, and better for that; the old graves and churchyard trees do more for the imagination than any themed attraction could.
