First Presbyterian Church is part of the older civic fabric around downtown Asheville. Its stone Gothic Revival presence and tall windows make it easy to notice while walking near Pack Square, especially amid the city's mix of Art Deco, commercial brick, and mountain-town eccentricity.
It is primarily an active congregation, so visit respectfully and do not expect a museum-style experience. As a sightseeing stop, it works best as one piece of an architectural walk through central Asheville rather than a destination by itself.
