The American Sign Museum is devoted to the history of commercial signs, with painted signs, bulb-lit displays, plastic signs, and neon from across the United States. The collection covers roughly a century of sign-making and advertising, so it works both as design history and as a bright walk through old roadside America.
It is one of Cincinnati's more distinctive museums, especially good for visitors interested in typography, vernacular design, or the visual culture of shops, theatres, motels, and main streets.
