Cincinnati Fire Museum

Cincinnati Fire Museum tells the story of firefighting in a city that had the first fully paid professional fire department in the United States. Exhibits cover early hand pumps, horse-drawn equipment, alarms, uniforms, and the shift to modern fire engines.

The museum is close to Over-the-Rhine and makes an easy add-on to a downtown walk.
