Sapulpa is small enough that the downtown sights — courthouse, Historical Museum, Trolley Museum, Worlds Largest Gas Pump, the brick-paved Route 66 alignment — are all within a 15-minute walk. For everything beyond the downtown ring (Frankoma, Tee Pee Drive-In, Heyburn Lake, Glenpool), you need a car. There is no public transit.
Parking is free almost everywhere. The Saturday morning farmers' market on Main Street is the busiest time downtown; otherwise traffic and crowds are negligible.
