Bend is served by Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM), about 16 miles north of downtown, with direct flights from Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, and Phoenix. Several airlines including Alaska, Delta, and United fly here. The airport is small and easy to navigate.
By car, Bend is about three hours from Portland via US-20 or Highway 97, and about four hours from Eugene going over the Cascades on Highway 58. There is no passenger rail service to Bend; Greyhound and FlixBus serve the city from Portland, with the journey taking around four to five hours.
