Holicong is one of the small villages that make up Buckingham township — a crossroads on Old York Road (Route 202) with around twenty 19th-century buildings still standing, most of them now private homes. The village grew up around a tavern and post office in the early 1800s, named after Holicunk Hill nearby.
The district takes about ten minutes to walk end to end. The Holicong Inn, Lewis Long House, and a row of stone Quaker farmhouses are the most striking buildings. Combine a stop here with Peddler's Village or a drive along Route 202 — Holicong is just south of Lahaska.
