Easton's restaurant scene has come a long way since the early 2000s. The cluster around Centre Square is the obvious place to look: Mister Lee's Noodles for late-night ramen, Two Rivers Brewing for hearty bar food and decent house IPAs, and The Bayou for Cajun. Easton Wine Project does small plates in a tucked-away wine bar.
The genuine highlight for many visitors is the Easton Public Market on Northampton Street — a permanent indoor food hall with stalls for empanadas (Don Juan), Bolognese (Modern Crumb), wood-fired pizza, gelato, and one of the better fishmongers in the Lehigh Valley. Open Wednesday through Sunday.
A short drive across the bridge in Phillipsburg, Pizzeria Marcellos is the kind of neighbourhood Italian-American spot where the menu hasn't changed in thirty years and shouldn't.
