A small science centre on Northampton Street with a focus on the Delaware and Lehigh river systems — flooding, water quality, and climate. The headline exhibit is the Science on a Sphere, a six-foot suspended globe onto which NOAA satellite imagery is projected; it cycles through climate, weather, and ocean current data sets.
The centre is geared to families and schools but useful for any adult interested in the ecology of the Delaware. Free admission, modest opening hours. The downtown location makes it an easy add-on to a visit to the Crayola Experience or canal museum across the square.
