Sigal Museum

The local history museum of the Northampton County Historical and Genealogical Society, housed in a converted 1900s commercial building on South 4th Street. The collection covers Lenape Native American material, colonial-era domestic life, the Industrial Revolution in the Lehigh Valley, and the immigration waves — German, Italian, Eastern European — that shaped the region.

Two galleries stand out: the Lenape Lifeways room, which uses reproduction longhouse fittings and original wampum to evoke pre-contact life on the Delaware, and a working 1830s glassblower's bench that occasionally fires up for demonstrations. Allow an hour and a half.
