Pawtuxet Village

Pawtuxet Village is a preserved historic neighbourhood at the Pawtuxet River, with roots going back to 1638. It later became a stop on the Underground Railroad, adding another layer to its colonial and maritime history.

The village works well as a short walk for travellers interested in older New England streetscapes, small-scale architecture, and local history.
