Holocaust Museum Houston is one of the serious anchors of the Museum District. Its permanent exhibitions remember the victims and survivors of the Holocaust, while also looking at genocide, prejudice, and civil courage in a wider frame.
It is not a light museum, and it is best approached with time and attention. For visitors already seeing the Museum of Fine Arts or Hermann Park, it adds a very different and important stop nearby.
