Clapp Park is a modest but useful green space south of central Lubbock, with the Lubbock Garden, the Memorial Rose Garden, and St. Paul's on the Plain close together. It is best as a local breather rather than a headline sight.
Families may also want to look for Safety City at the south end of the park, a miniature street layout used to teach children road safety.
