For such a tiny town, Bluff punches above its weight in eating. The tourist trade passing through to Monument Valley and the artist colony character of the place have produced a handful of genuinely good restaurants. Twin Rocks Cafe, attached to the trading post of the same name, serves Navajo-influenced cooking — fry bread, Navajo tacos, stews — in a setting with views of the red rock formations above town. Breakfast at the Cottonwood Steakhouse, by the river, is a local institution.
Options are limited enough that most restaurants close early and some are seasonal; check ahead before arriving hungry after dark.
