Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) is the main gateway, about 40 miles south of Ogden. Ground transportation options include the FrontRunner commuter rail, which runs from the airport (via the Salt Lake Central station) to Ogden in about an hour and is by far the easiest and cheapest option. Car rental at SLC and the drive north on I-15 is straightforward and takes about 40 minutes in normal traffic.
Direct flights to Ogden itself are limited. Ogden-Hinckley Airport handles private and charter aircraft and a handful of regional routes, but most visitors arrive via SLC. Greyhound and other bus services connect Ogden with Salt Lake City and points north and south along the I-15 corridor.
