By car — Provo is about 45 miles south of Salt Lake City via I-15, a drive of around 45 minutes in normal traffic. This is the most practical way to arrive.
By commuter rail — FrontRunner, Utah's commuter rail line, runs from Ogden through Salt Lake City to Provo. The Provo station is a few miles from downtown; a connecting bus runs from the station into the centre. The journey from Salt Lake City takes about 50 minutes and costs a few dollars.
By bus — Greyhound and other intercity buses serve Provo from Salt Lake City and points south.
By air — Salt Lake City International Airport is the nearest major airport, about 50 miles north. No commercial flights serve Provo Municipal Airport.
