Getting There

Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) is the main hub for flights into Utah, served by most major US airlines including Delta (which uses it as a hub), Southwest, United, American, and JetBlue. International flights arrive primarily from Canada, Mexico, and London. The airport is about 5 miles northwest of downtown; TRAX light rail connects the terminals to downtown in about 25 minutes.

Amtrak's California Zephyr (Chicago–San Francisco) and Desert Wind (Los Angeles–Chicago) both stop at the Salt Lake Amtrak station at 340 South 600 West, though the train schedule is not always convenient — check times carefully. Greyhound buses connect Salt Lake City to Las Vegas, Denver, and other regional cities.

By car, Salt Lake City sits at the intersection of I-15 (north-south spine of the West) and I-80 (trans-continental route), making it easily accessible by road from most directions.
