City Creek Center is the main downtown shopping complex, built on the site of the former Crossroads Plaza mall directly across from Temple Square. When the original mall was demolished and rebuilt, it reopened in 2012 as an open-air retail development with over 100 shops, a retractable glass roof, and a landscaped creek running through its central walkways.
The centre includes a good mix of mid-range and upscale retailers and is particularly convenient if you are already visiting Temple Square or the Church History Museum nearby. Parking is validated on weekdays with a minimum purchase; Sundays are free.
