The Beehive House at 67 East South Temple was the official residence of Brigham Young, second president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the governor of Utah Territory, from 1854 until his death in 1877. Built in a Greek Revival style, it is a National Historic Landmark, restored and furnished with original pieces and period artifacts.
Free guided tours run daily and provide a close look at life in the Young household, including the parlors, dining room, and period furnishings. It stands directly next to the Lion House and Eagle Gate, making it part of a walkable cluster of early Mormon history sites on South Temple Street.
