Wells Fargo Center

Address 299 South Main Street

The Wells Fargo Center, completed in 1998, is Salt Lake's tallest building at 422 feet (24 storeys). The polished granite shaft, designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox, holds offices for the Wells Fargo regional headquarters and the Stoel Rives law firm. The ground-floor lobby and the small plaza outside are open to the public.

The tower is most useful as an orientation landmark. The Pegasus statue outside the Main Street entrance — a reference to the original Wells Fargo Bank logo — is a popular meeting point. From the upper-floor windows of the Market Street Grill restaurant on the building's third floor you get one of the best mid-rise city views.
