There are no restaurants in Sterling. The village is small enough that if you blink on US-89 you will miss it entirely, and there is no café, diner or food truck to speak of. If you are staying at Palisade State Park, bring your own supplies — the campground has cooking facilities and fire pits.
Manti, about 10km north on US-89, is the nearest town with food options: a handful of basic diners and a café or two serving the local population. Ephraim, a few kilometres further north, has similar. Neither place will win culinary awards, but both will produce a serviceable meal after a day on the water.
