Brazilian Side (Parque Nacional do Iguaçu)

The Brazilian side of the falls — Parque Nacional do Iguaçu — offers what the Argentine side does not: a single elevated walkway running along the cliff face that looks across the full width of the falls simultaneously. This is the classic postcard perspective, the image you recognise. Where the Argentine side immerses you in individual cascades, the Brazilian side steps back and shows you the whole picture.

The walkway ends at a platform beside the Garganta del Diablo, close enough for spray and noise, wide enough for photographs that include the entire panorama.

An easy half-day from Puerto Iguazú by taxi or organised tour (30–45 minutes to the Brazilian park entrance). Check Brazilian entry requirements before going — visa requirements vary by nationality. Foz do Iguaçu, the Brazilian city just across the border, has good lunch options.
