Jardín de los Picaflores is a tiny, private-feeling garden in Puerto Iguazú that turns a simple patch of greenery into a close-up hummingbird stop. Feeders and flowering plants draw birds within a few metres, making it much easier to appreciate their colour and speed than in the forest canopy around the falls.
Keep expectations correctly scaled: this is a short, quiet visit, not a reserve or zoo. It works well on an arrival afternoon, between bus connections, or after the intensity of Iguazú Falls when you want something small, local, and surprisingly absorbing.
